At Grampians Grape Escape, volunteering isn't merely about lending a hand; it's an invitation to hone your skills, forge friendships, and revel in the satisfying glow of a job well done—plus, did we mention the coveted, can't-miss, ABSOLUTELY FREE Saturday & Sunday Tasting Ticket valued at a whopping $185? Just a 5.5-hour shift earns you this golden pass to both festival days. Trust us; it's the savviest way to secure the hottest ticket in town!

If you wanted to join the festival for Feel Good Friday and swap your weekend ticket instead, just let us know once your application has been processed and we can allocate a Friday ticket for you instead.

HOUSEKEEPING INFORMATION

Accommodation:
Volunteers must arrange their accommodation as GGE cannot provide it during the festival dates.

At-Event Contact:
Our amazing Emily will be returning as the volunteer coordinator! You can expect to hear from us 6-8 weeks prior to the festival. If you require confirmation of your acceptance earlier, please feel free to reach out to Kate Kirkpatrick.

Skills Required:
We offer roles tailored to various skills, responsibilities, and time commitments. Being reliable, punctual, and a people person is key.

Application Instructions:
Please allocate sufficient time to complete this form. It should take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to finish. To avoid timing out and restarting, ensure you complete the form in one session. You can exit the registration form anytime by closing your browser. After that, however, you will need to start the registration process again.

Types of roles available. 

This breakdown gives you an idea of the different roles available across the festival days and the specific tasks associated with each role so you can make your selection with the following question. 


1. ASSISTANCE (Thursday - Monday).
Jobs may include: Set up, pack-up, clean-up. 


2. FRONT OF HOUSE - (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Jobs may include: Assist at the gate, manage winestore logistics, oversee wristband checkpoints, serve as an information point of contact at the gate, and more.


3. HOSPITALITY - (Saturday + Sunday)
Jobs may include: Assist exhibitors, prepare for masterclasses and demonstrations, grape stomping support. Note: RSA or Food Handlers certification may be required.


4. RUNNING - (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
Jobs may include: Manage event running tasks, including delivering items to exhibitors and various festival sites.
